I needed new wheel bearings and sensor work. I was nervous about getting a quote. Roberto B offered to do a full inspection. Yes there was a charge but it was worth it to get a clear understanding of what needed to be repaired. They send you a full assessment to review. Including less urgent repairs needed. Roberto was knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process, excellent communication. They even offered a courtesy ride to pick up when it was fixed.I was skeptical about how many good reviews they have, but I get it now and would recommend the shop and Roberto!

This was my first time at the shop. The people were very professional and friendly. They gave me a realistic estimate on both cost and time for my repair. The waiting room was very clean and welcoming. There had coffee and other refreshments. They had a place for children to play and comfortable chairs by a television. When my repair was completed, they took time to go over the paperwork, clearly explaining the charges, as well as what I might want to think about in the future. I am so glad that I discovered this place!

I brought my Kia Optima in for a full engine replacement, which was a huge job and a pretty stressful situation to deal with. I worked with Roberto throughout the process, and he made the whole thing a lot easier. He was transparent about the work, kept me updated, and really took the time to make sure I understood what was going on. After getting the car back, I’ve put some heavy miles on it for a proper 'shakedown' on the highway, and the engine is running smooth and strong. It’s hard to find a shop you can trust with a repair this major, but these guys are the real deal. If you need serious work done, ask for Roberto—he’ll make sure you’re taken care of. Highly recommend!

I had the transmission replaced in my Mazda at Honest-1 Auto Care in South Elgin, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. The entire process was handled professionally, and the work was completed to my satisfaction. A special thank you to Roberto, who was a delight to work with from start to finish. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions. He kept me informed throughout the repair process and made what could have been a stressful experience much easier. It’s refreshing to find an auto repair shop that provides both quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Finding a trustworthy repair shop can be challenging, but Roberto and the team earned my confidence. I highly recommend Honest-1 Auto Care to anyone needing reliable automotive repairs. Thank you, Roberto and the entire team, for taking such great care of my Mazda!

They offer great service at this company. They did a great job on my car not only once but twice. They offer extra help if you can't come get your car there tow it to you. They get the car in and out quickly saving you time saving you money. Even offering discounts when you running a little short. I appreciate all the help that these young men and Estella respect. Every time that I spoke with them they were professional. They understood they listened to the customers advice and then they gave me the best present answer that they could give that was available for the situations that I was in with this car failing me when I needed it the most. They were there too rescue me and put me back on the road safe. I want to thank them for all of their heart work. No photos
